Kim Rollwitz Photography » my blog- where I post previews of my most recent work

I actually took pictures for Lorie a fees months ago to use for a book project she is involved in. She was such a joy to be with that by the time we were done I felt like I had been with a long-time friend. Needless to say when she scheduled a session for she and her family I was beyond excited. I had so much fun with her sweet family. The kids are just so fun, well-mannered, and just easy to be around. I could tell in only a short time with them them, that this family trull enjoys being around each other, The kids teased each other good-naturedly and just seemed to have such a good bond with each other. I enjoyed just watching the interaction between them. Thanks so much Lorie for sharing your beautiful family with me for the evening. I hope you enjoy the memories we created  for years to come!!

Whitnee and Nathan are going to be the best parents. They are so sweet and have so much love to share with little Mallorie when she gets here. Blessing little Mallorie even more will be the  amazing extended family that adore her already.  Since West Texas summers are so hot, I met Nathan and Whitnee early on July 4th for their session. Getting up early on the holiday was well worth not sweating to death during the session. I am so happy with the way their images turned out. They were so relaxed and natural with each other and I  enjoyed spending the time with them. Can’t wait to meet little Mallorie in a few weeks for her newborn session.

I have been waiting to take these sweet little girl’s pictures since just after Kenley was born. Finally schedules worked out and we were able to get their session done and I am so thankful. I had the best time with them and their wonderful Mom who happens to be one of the awesome teachers I work with. Not having been blessed with girls of my own, it was such a joy yo spend part of my morning with these two. I came so close to bringing them home to play!! The had fun trying out my new Teddy Bear prop and since they were the first I used it for got to give it it’s name- “Alli Bear”. One of my new favorite shots is of Allison reading to her little sister. Capturing moments like those is why I love what I do!! Enjoy these Brent and Berni and thanks for sharing your little angels with me.

After many months of total, crazy, wonderful, busy days, I have finally decided to resurrect my long lost blog. I’m starting with the sweet Wiggins Family. Because of the extreme West Texas heat, we opted for a morning session which in the summer is early to get the best light. They were all troopers considering the time and I had so much fun with them. The boys were as cute as can be and handled being in front of the camera extremely well for 5 and 9 year old boys! Thanks so much Wiggins Family for choosing me to help capture your beautiful family. I hope you enjoy these for years to come.
